You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and emerging SI’s in Sydney, as well as building strong relationships within Rockwell to ensure products are represented appropriately, and growth is achieved for both businesses.

About the Role:
NHP are currently looking for an experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – AUTOMATION Specialist to join our Sydney Sales team.
Working with a range of top leading brands such as Rockwell Automation, this exciting position will provide you with an opportunity to promote NHP’s suite of Electrical and Automation products across NHP’s Sydney accounts.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and emerging SI’s in Sydney, as well as building strong relationships within Rockwell to ensure products are represented appropriately, and growth is achieved for both businesses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing short and long-term project sales strategies and managing these throughout the project feed
- Establishing and maintaining relationships to assigned accounts including but not limited to some EPC’s, Consultants, End Users, OEMs, and System Integrators.
- Adopting the company’s disciplined approach to managing sales opportunities and front log using available sales tools.
- Early Engagement with customer to influence specifications involving NHP Technology team, participation in solution selection and identify target projects.
- Technical knowledge and good understanding of industrial automation at all market segments, industrial software, control systems and motor control/MCC’s.
- Staying current on Industry trends, competitors, market drivers and RA offerings.
- Maintaining close contact with customers and potential customers through effective utilisation of product knowledge
- Experience in the Automation and Electrical field
- Experience operating a CRM database or similar
- An ability to ‘listen to the customer’ & translate needs into business solutions
- Outstanding communicator who thrives on building strong customer relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and accountability.
