Through the process of developing these services for customers, we have the necessary expertise to be able to assist in capital equipment specification, acquisition and acceptance testing by engaging and utilising industry experts who have gained their knowledge from having worked in the power and rail industries for many years. Our role in this process is, as an independent consultant with no vested interests with the suppliers of such equipment. In addition to our Consultant Services listed above, we offer the following Specialist Services for the power distribution, transmission, rail and mining industries:

- Commissioning

An experienced staff member will work onsite to oversee the commission stages of a project, to ensure quality control and support for our customers. With complete ITP’, check-sheets and test sheets for pre-FAT, FAT and SAT to client specification and approval.

- Engineering and Consulting

Our engineering and consulting services focus on understanding your requirements and setting strategies for your power system to satisfy your business needs. Our engineers and consultants can help diagnose problems, identify ways to improve performance or transform concepts into flexible, practical solutions that can lead to better productivity and capital utilisation.

- Project Management

An experienced manager will oversee projects and help coordinate the manufacture, programming, testing, delivery, installation, commissioning and training associated with the project to ensure a high level of quality control and customer satisfaction. We develop an overall project schedule with multi-disciplinary involvement and provide progress monitoring and evaluation. We can also provide contract supervision of overall project;

- Repairs and Maintenance

To meet our high-quality control standard, our dedicated service and repair team provides timely and reliable repairs and maintenance services to our customers for all relevant products. We are equipped with the correct test equipment and carry critical spare parts locally for items that are in some instances +80 years old.

- Training

Training no longer occurs solely in a classroom. Our hands-on product training and refresher programs may be conducted in the field or in an office environment. This hands-on training is another way in which we achieve our goal of quality customer service and satisfaction.

- Transformer Services

Transformers are expensive long life-cycle assets however the consequences of failures can lead to unacceptable network constraints and customer downtime. MV Technology offers transformer consultancy services run by Geoff Ebb. Geoff has well over 30+ years experience in the Power Transmission Industry within NSW and has been providing assistance to other Australian and overseas authorities for some time.

Our services include factory audits, specification review, technical bid evaluation, design review, acceptance tests, on-site testing and diagnostics.
